This is the second guitar I bought from Amazon and I wish I’d read about this one first. It doesn’t hold tune over night or for long sessions, but this is minor anoyance to me. For the price, it’s a great deal. Nice finish, nice feel. Too bad none of the extras, like tuner, strap, etc. came with it, so the true price is a bit more than for just the guitar. Still, it plays and sounds nice.
The guitar has a solid sound right of of the box (after tuning) Great for first time beginners or even advance players. A good price for a nice guitar.
I have one word: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I bought this guitar as a beginner and it’s been great for me! The guitar itself is beautiful and strums beautifully. I’ve been using online tutorials and I’m learning quickly with this Takamine S35 Jasmine Acoustic Guitar. I highly recommend buying this guitar whether you’re a beginner or expert. Compared to other guitars, this one is cheaper but still just as good. I play everyday, I’m so attached to this guitar. All in all, this guitar is more than I asked for and I’m so thankful!!
I bought this on a whim, seeing as I’ve always wanted to learn acoustic guitar and this had a nice discounted price on Amazon and good reviews. The guitar has worked well for my lessons. My teacher did suggest I get it adjusted due to too much buzzing on the strings– I had to get it fixed twice, but the total cost was maybe $50, and it sounds better now. I haven’t used other guitars to compare it to, but I haven’t had a problem with the action being too high– I’ve developed calluses by now but for someone who has never played, I didn’t find pressing the strings down painful. It doesn’t have the greatest sound, but if you’re just beginning like I am, it’s a good entry-level guitar.
Beautiful guitar with a fantastic sounding tone. Although I was worried about what I read in feedback left by others, I found that the action was perfect. I’ve not been playing long. But I’m very happy with my purchase.
