Item Description

Our number one selling model is more than just about the price. The Epiphone Special II is a great way for beginners to get started on guitar with real, Les Paul tone, but seasoned pros love the Special II because it’s a great-sounding, workhorse guitar that lets them leave their more expensive axes at home. The authentic LP power starts with all-Mahogany construction with a Rosewood fingerboard and is voiced by a pair of hot open-coil 700T and 650R Humbucker pickups. Like all of our electric guitars, it comes standard-equipped with 500K Ohms potentiometers, our own heavy-duty 3-way pickup selector toggle switch and non-rotating heavy duty output jack. This value-champ also features Chrome hardware including the Epiphone LockToneā„¢ locking Tune-o-matic bridge and Stop-bar tailpiece for amazing sustain and even more mind-blowing value.

The Black guitar looks wonderful. I kept the poster on my wall and marked it. But The

strings sounded softly and it was out tuned (duh). I accidentally Broke a string

which i wounded up too much with the head and broke another trying to replace (even with reading the instructions). So since that didn’t work I will have to go to the music store and get a new string (E-1). I will have to get my Dad to do it this time.

The style is really good. It shows that it is very pricey and That I saved up allot. I had 2 other reasons, Let a friend come and play and play bye Myself with sweet sound but not without a missing string.

UPS just laid it there at the door so you don’t really have to sign up.

    Or maybe????

This is a professionally crafted and really sounded great, i just feel dismayed that the original string on the 6th was already broken… other than that this sound great and ready to rock right out the box.

Listen,If you want an inexpensive guitar with great sound and easy playability, buy this one. Period.

I bought a black one to leave in the trunk while I was at work, in case the guys called for a practice session, so I wouldn’t have to go all the way home to pick up my gear.

I have other, way more expensive guitars, like a Gibson ES-335, Dean 12 string, and a Fender Strat, but I gotta tell you, I like this one soooo much I play it more than the others! No kidding.

And if it gets banged up, so what??? It costs a buck thirty! Buy another. In facte I bought 2 others with different finishes, just for a cheap change up guitar.

    Dig it.

I wanted to start playing guitar with no previous experience so i went to guitar center where i live and strolled around looking for an inexpensive guitar that was not “cheap”. This guitar caught my eye, it is perfect for a beginner or anyone who wants a les paul on a budget, like me. I bought mine used for $80 and it was red but i figured that this price could not be beat and for a starter what does the color matter it doesnt make it sound ant different. Anyway if anyone is starting to play guitar BUY THIS ONE and i also recommend the Spider line 6 amp to go with. I enjoy metallica and it sounds great for the stuff ive played so far.
